Ok I Want More info On Who or How many STud ?Pitchers there is in CCHS Anyone?? ?BY now after a week of P/C I think there is a Winner/STARTER????? ? ?

I dont think anybody from CCHS is gonna tip their hand until the season starts lol, they are crafty that way. ?;D New coach might mean everybody gets a fresh start.

Ok Lets move on to Another team.... Rogers..??? Whats the Info.. anyone seen any of there players in the Travel last year??

When I saw Rogers in the Summer they had some pitching, like three kids threw pretty good. I am not sure of their names or if they play travel.

I can never understand why fastpitch at Rogers doesn't stick. ?Did they not have a pretty good feeder program up until recently? ?I can remember playing them in Rec/travel ball a few years back. ?They were pretty decent.

I have the same comment with Waite. What is the story there?

Ex - Like F2H said, no grudges held here. We just pointed out that efforts have been made in central Toledo to expand softball opportunities to those girls. Now, we shouldn't give up, but as maumeesoftball pointed out, resources get drained. That's why when you strongly urged that something be attempted again, we all felt that you need to lead the effort. We all get your point. I don't think you got ours. We want your help, in addition to your ideas.

ExcarKun - a suggestion? Try to get rid of that obnoxious font. It isn't the color that's hard to read - it's the type. I don't know about anyone else - but I'm starting to skip right over your posts with that font because they're too hard to read.

Waite has made tremendous strides over the past 5 years under Coach Turner. I believe her asst. got another job at a SLL school. While she may be competitive in the middle of the pack, it's very tough to compete against the Catholic schools who are watched over by some Divine Force.

Fast, are there any standout players to watch for at Waite?

Standout players??? Is that relatively speaking comparing them to other elite players from SUA, NDA, Clay, Bowsher?? I don't know, but I doubt it. I have no doubts that they have some good players but not in the "stand-out" category. I have not talked to my "old" friend Coach T for a few months. She was busy with personal business over the summer. I will drop her a line and see if she will give us the insdie dope. (oh oh, can I say the word "dope" on a softball forum???)

There is always a struggle for teams with public schools in an urban setting. It is difficult to find the commitment. I have no doubts that Coach T has done the the possible job that anyone could do and the results have shown. I also have heard of the frustrations from her and a number of other coaches. Unfortunately it seems like sometimes the adminiistration at the schools are not committed too. I did pretty well in math and the formula is:
Little commitment from players + Little commitment from school = Frustrations
