JJester - you are welcome. You guys have a strong lineup from top to bottom. Both teams kicked it around a bit and the umpiring was not good but I know a good team when I see it. As always, having my scouting hat on for our summer team. My daughter usually doesn't get hit much so you guys putting stuff in play and hitting a few with authority shows me that you guys have a very quality hitting team. I wish you were coming to our end of the season tourney. We have some pretty good teams coming - we played an ITB game last year in the final vs. Marysville - good luck with the rest of your season!

thanks - my dd is the pitcher and has noticably improved in the last week . . . her change up is looking great and fastball location getting better. Hoping to get a win this middle school season even with a very weak team to back her up :)

I'm glad to hear she's working hard at her trade. I take it that she is fairly new to pitching? If so, then she's doing an impressive job. I wouldn't worry about MS ball, her supporting cast is a tad rough. Hopefully, summer ball will be a different story for her.

Musty, glad to see your "book" skilz are up to speed! That was a good game between Ross and Nagel Silver. Not sure about the 2nd game against Nagel Blue. I had to go. Good to see you at the game and catch up a bit.:cap:

GE Lady Trojans - 1
Lakota Liberty Silver - 0

Great pitching job by #8 BM and she also had the GWRBI.

Kudos to Lakota Liberty Silver pitcher #14. She did a great job. I talked to the umpire after the game and he said both pitchers were painting the corners and had nice movement.

Ross over Little Miami 6-5. Changing out the starters for Ross made it a very close game at the end. Lots of excellent defense tonight. Nice job Ross. Little Miami is a solid team too.

I'll be there to help you figure out that pesky scorebook. CAN NOT believe you are a rookie at the book. I shouldn't let that slide so easily!!! I'm slacking now myself!

I don't like to help out at all. I sit on my fat arse seconding guessing the coach, complaining about the umpiring and eating walking taco's. If I could down it with a beer I'd be in heaven.

let me know where you are playing middle school ball so we can figure out how to schedule games so we can eat walking tacos too. No food ever at these games. I love your ability to hide the truth.

Don't know the score but Lexington beat Clearfork tonight. Lexington's pitcher had 19 strike outs. :) She happens to be my dd.

Saturday action: Firelands M.S. beat Clearview Durling M.S. 10-4; Durling beat Sheffield M.S.; then Sheffield beat Firelands 8-4. Firelands pitcher Hannah Hicks in 2nd ever start had 11 Ks and 4 BB in win over Durling.

Lester, don't let him fool you, he was just being my substitute! He's just like most men, he's more than capable to do it, but if he lets someone know that he can do it well they will expect him to continue doing it so he just pretends like he has no idea how!:lmao:

Two good pitchers, key hits by both teams when it mattered.

Great job by Liberty Silver. The pitcher #34 did a great job keeping us off balance. She did not let us string many hits together and the defense was solid.
