Shayne, it was nice to be out on the field, and you're right, it was COLD. Your field looks great. See you again next week.

Not back to the shape it was in this fall when we it was redone, but it is pretty good. Have some areas at the backstop and field entry doors that are still low, but the field crew came back in last weekend and got it playable.

Dan that was last year, Nothing on this year yet. Have three games against MOAC teams this year. Dana is looking forward to the double header with River Valley and getting to see all her friends. Phil won't see her in the OF this year. She has moved to the infield. I would guess Highland would be rated when it comes out. MOAC wep page

My sleeper is River Valley, but March 29 against state ranked Shelby who has everyone back will be a good test.

Dan,
River Valley played an excellent game against Shelby tonight, (12-1). The bats were on fire with 15 hits, no K's. AP had a nice 3 run blast to deep center. RV will play North Union tomorrow.

Northmor off to a 2-0 start...we're really young, but the girls are playing with alot of enthusiasm. We just got to keep getting better every day.

Mike I read the NOSF, which is the NOL sports forum. They were all telling everyone how Shelby would dominate the NOL this year. I think you made a statement. Great win. Shelby was rated in D2 last year, with most of the team back. .

Nice Start Lady Kinghts! Kelsey was over a couple of days ago to pick up her new CF4. Smiles on her face and a note one her bat! You'll have to ask her about that one.

Dan,
RV has played excellent their first two games. Combined 32 hits, 33 runs and giving up only one run in two games. Hopefully their bat continues to be a force this year. Shelby was a good confidence boost for the team. BTW, Courtney has been outstanding on the mound.

BV gets a nice win against NU
Mt. Gilead shuts out Pleasant
RV moves to 3-0 and has yet to play a full game, thanks to the hot hitting and quality pitching to start the season.

Hope to see you guys Saturday at River Valley. Mother nature right now doesn't look good with thunderstorms forecasted. Hopefully the dd will be healed by then. Took a line drive off her thumb at third against CF and is having an issue griping the bat.

Hopefully the forecast changes and DD gets better. If Shayne can't work some magic over there in Northmor doesn't look like we will be seeing him tonight either.

I heard that the retractable roof on the dome that Shayne had installed is stuck on the open position. So it might be a little wet at Northmor today.:D

The RV bats stay hot with a 15 to 8 win over Highland. Rengert gets the win and helps herself with a 3 run HR.

Good win for RV! Highland is tough as nails and refuse to lose! When you play them, don't get too comfortable because it's not over until the last out has been called! You can bet on that!

Mt. Gilead is off to a good start on the season, 5-0.

Stats through Game 4, 44 hits, 3 HR, 8 Extra Base hits, and 6 starters with BA above .333

Play East Knox Thursday, RV on Friday (will be a GREAT GAME), DH with Utica on Saturday (Mother Nature permitting)

fpdad,

I agree should be a great game! A lot of excellent players from both teams! Sounds like it could be another mother nature win????? Calling for rain again.

Coach Mike,

Hopefully the RV field will hold some rain... It looks like it should be over around noon or so... would really like to get this one in... like a wise man told me once.. "If you want to be the Best, you have to beat the Best."

Looking forward to seeing you again.
