Lol. You mean a new bat in the wrapper? It wasn’t broke when you got it or when you sold it to someone else was it? If it was than you knew it was broke and sold it? Maybe you just can’t understand how this works. Easton made the bat. The bat was brand new. You don’t buy it from me. You traded me a glove for a NEW bat. You then sold that new bat to someone else. That person unwrapped the NEW bat and used it. That turned the bat into a USED BAT. They USED bat now has a crack. The manufacturer may or may not cover it. It is not MY PROBLEM. If you want to BUY bats with warranty spend MONEY. Don’t try to trade equipment you can’t sell. Dude everyone is laughing at you.

I got no duck in this pond - but am wondering about both - Jay, if the bat was NIW - why didn't it have a receipt?
Juan, if you knew it didn't have a receipt before trading, why trade? You knew the risk of warranty coverage if so.
Hope it works out!

Should make everyone aware - If buying a NIW, no matter what you pay - should have a receipt!
And NO ONE that is part of this community should be paying retail for a bat!

I took the bat in on a trade. From someone who won it in a raffle. He was made well aware it had no receipt when he offered to trade the glove. He than sold the bat to someone else. This bat changed hands multiple times until the end user unwrapped it and used it. It is not my issue at all.

Now since I get Rep price and sell them Shipped with receipt straight from SIS for $285 he didn’t want that he wanted a trade. You don’t get a receipt from bartering.

He said he got bat on a trade from someone that "won in a raffle" in the above post. But i can show texts where jay ferrigno is saying he sold three more bats tonight. So he must know alot of lucky raffle people if he has three more he just sold last night!??? But why if you get rep prices would you trade for the exact same model bat that you can get from your rep????

When I originally saw this post I went online and read the reviews. The Ghost bat is having issues with breaking and is being replaced left and right. I would suggest contacting Easton to see if they will stand behind the product. I don't think it was anything Jay did, though I would have been hesitant to purchase any new bat w/o a receipt.

Thanks.

He seen it as a way to make money. That’s why he flipped in within 4 hours. I didn’t buy it he traded me. Someone bought it from him. The issue is with Easton as you stated. Not me. I didn’t make the bat and it was in perfect condition still in the wrapper when I traded it.
