Hi!
My name is Kate Jagger and I am looking to give pitching lessons to local players in the Akron/Canton area. I previously played for Ohio Outlaws, Lady Lasers Gray, Ohio Ice, and the Tigerlillies. I played travel ball for 10+ years, traveling from South Dakota to Florida and everywhere in between. I firmly believe in teaching safe, effective fundamentals with an emphasis on the importance of warming up and doing drills that most instructors see as "pointless". If you need references, I can provide those to you.
Below are some details:
-$20/half hour
-$30/hour
-MUST have your own catcher
-I offer individual as well as group instruction (multiple pitchers from a team)
-YOU must have a location (field, indoor facility, etc.) where lessons will take place
-I will drive a max of 20 miles to meet you
-First lesson will be individual to get to know your daughter and go over the basics
-I do not allow parents to "instruct" their daughters while I am teaching - distractions take away from your daughter. However, questions/concerns/comments are okay
-Lessons can be scheduled for the same time every week or we can figure out a schedule that works for you.
-$10 cancellation fee for lessons that are cancelled at a minimum of 2 hours before the lesson. The full price of the lesson will be charged for no call/no show. I won't waste your time, so please don't waste mine.
-I accept cash/check and am working on accepting debit cards.
