Pickerington HS Central softball complex is open for the summer and fall seasons. We've had a number of cancellations due to the virus and have open dates for tournaments, practices and tryouts, now through the end of Oct.
We have one of the nicer 4 plex's in the State with full concessions, brand new sound system, restrooms, plenty of parking and warm up areas. We also have a full field crew on staff to turnover fields between every game.
We also host the OHSAA sectionals, districts and regionals every year.
If interested please email us at centralsoftballfield@gmail.com for availability.

This is a sick joke. Stingrays tourney was supposed to be this weekend. They had to cancel one of the divisions because Pickerington schools said they couldn't use the fields.

We opened July 1st and are hosting our first (1 day) tournament this Saturday. We've also been hosting the AACCC this week.

I just saw this... Stingrays was one of the first to make the decision to cancel at the beginning of this when it looked like there wasnt going to be ANY softball. Also, it was OSHAA that made the decision , NOT Pickerington, they had NO say in the matter.

Stingrays on June 5:

It is will our deepest regrets that we are relaying this unfortunate information to you. Due to the uncertainties the COVID-19 pandemic has caused, all playing divisions for the 2020 Ohio Stingrays Showcase and NFCA Camp have been cancelled. Our facility rentals at the Pickerington locations have been eliminated per district communications, and we cannot get a firm answer from our other playing site locations. Emails will be sent out to each team individually regarding entry fee refunds. There are major costs that go into initial tournament set up that are non-refundable for the Stingray organization. We hope that you will consider us for the 2021 Stingray showcase.
Sincerely,
Tournament Staff.

OHSAA walked that misinformation back long before Stingrays was forced to cancel.

I was at Pickerington Central today, the rest rooms were closed, no full concession stand. They did take care of the diamonds.

I double checked , Stingrays couldnt get a answer from OSU on Beekman in time and yes, OSHAA did in fact wasnt going to allow Pickerington. OSHAA came out later and clarified that they were talking about indoor facilities and not specifically outdoor AFTER things were cancelled. Pickerington staff wasnt even allowed to do maintenance at the time. I dont know where you come up with this "misinformation"

It's not hard. OHSAA, Snodgrass specifically, lied about the closure of outdoor school athletic facilities. It was a major embarrassment for OHSAA, and it was part of the reason why Snodgrass was fired.
