I really want to buy this bat but I play in leagues that use a 44 core ball which Monsta does not recommend based on durability.
I am not a big guy weighing in at 160 lbs, definitely not a power hitter. I get about 450 game at-bats per year. Could I get away with using this bat and have it last at least 900 swings?

sure if you swing and miss about 500 times -- should be good!

It's just possible that one of us is a bit confused. The Monsta Torch is a softball bat and I don't think that Monsta makes baseball bats.

Monsta Torch bats are killer in SP! Probably the hottest bat out right now. That said, hitting a .44 core SB will definitely shorten the lifespan of the bat and destroy it in short order. Look at an Anarchy. They are designed to hit both the softer SP balls and the harder ones. The nice thing is, they are just as hot as the Torch.

What can I say? I'm a bat nerd.
