Finished 3rd in the Lasers tournament. We lost two close games to both teams that made it to the championship (Lasers and Michigan Hurricanes). We also tied the over all champions in pool play 0-0 in seven innings.

Congrats to Lasers and Michigan Hurricanes. The Laser parents did a great job all weekend getting the fields ready and running the tournament. We appreciate your efforts.

Thunder Elite 04 completed Laser Nation with a total record of 3-3-1. We had an overall great experience getting the #2 seed out of our 6 team pool. There was so much great softball played this weekend at John Bishop Park in Columbus. It was awesome watching and playing some very talented teams. Great job Laser parents and coaches for keeping everything running smooth and efficient.

Wizards elite 03 pitched and played defense well enough to make a deep run at Laser Nation (gave up 15 runs in seven games), but unfortunately our bats were hot and cold all weekend. Lasers did a great job running this event. There was a ton of great softball and sportsmanship on display. Since we didn't take care of business in pool play, we were left with a very tough matchup in the first round which came back to bite us. We finished our crossover game with Team PA just after 9pm then turned around to play them again at 8AM.

I think the Lasers girls learned a very good lesson... Just because you beat a team 11-2 earlier in the tournament doesn't mean it will be an easy win, especially on championship Sunday. MI Hurricanes have a tough team. I'm proud of all of our girls. Also, would like to thank the Laser parents for all of their hard work this weekend!

By the way...so far this season (not counting indoor and friendlies), Lasers Black has a record of 31-4!!

SunDogs 03 finished tied for third at the Outlaws Showcase.
In the showcase games we had wins over Stampede, Indy Shockwaves and Turnin2. Lost to Hurricanes.
Bracket wins over Turnin2 and Finesse. Loss to Prospects. They are the best team we have seen so far. Jumped on us early and cruised to a 6-1 win. Then they beat a really tough PA Outlaws team 8-2 in final.
We will be at Sheer Madness this weekend.
