RVBFY FALL BALL LEAGUE 2016 River Valley Baseball for Youth is proud to offer our 17th annual Fall Ball league for travel and recreational-All Star league fast pitch softball teams for the 2016 season and are now accepting team registrations. Our Fall Ball league accepts teams to play in the following age divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U/18U. Double headers are played at the RVBFY Complex in Marion on Sundays for five weeks starting Sunday September 4th. Makeup games are to be played on October 9th. Travel division game times are 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and 12:00 noon and recreational league fast pitch game times are 1:30 pm, 3:00pm, and 4:00 pm (Time may be moved if weather dictates). The Team fee for 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U will be
$350.00 if you commit to playing all five weeks or $80.00 per Sunday scheduled. The 8U Team fee is $225.00 or $50.00 per Sunday scheduled. This will allow your team flexibility in your schedule should you play in a fall tournament. Team fees include field preparation, scheduling and payment of umpires, and game balls. Travel teams will be playing using ASA rules and Recreational-All Star teams will play using Ohio High School Athletic Association Rules both with a 75 minute time limit. Team practice can begin at August 1st. Each team is also responsible for their uniforms. A unique number on the back of each matching shirt is required. Team insurance and compliance with Ohio?s Return to Play Law (concussion management) is mandatory. Please register your team and coach now to reserve your place in the league. Register by completing the Registration Form and returning it by e-mail or mail. $100 deposit is due with team registration. The registration deadline is Sunday, August 21, 2016. Team information, schedule availability, team fees and team roster (include name, birthdate, and uniform number) is due that day. There will be a coaches meeting on Sunday, August 21, 2015 at 12:00pm for travel teams and at 1:00 pm for Recreational-All Star teams at The River Valley Baseball for Youth Complex in the center pavilion. We will finalize team registration and discuss league rules and conduct expectations for players, coaches, and fans. 2016 Fall Ball shirt orders can be placed at coaches meeting. Please be advised if team fees are not paid prior to games you will not play, teams that did not pay their remaining fee or their checks returned NSF last year will not return this year unless your outstanding debt is paid in full.
