1- We are looking for a good 10u tourney to get in June 16-18th, we are struggling to find anything to get in that weekend. Anyone have openings?

2- If we can't find a 10u tourney that weekend, we are thinking about getting in a 12u. Any thoughts on this? We have ASA states the following weekend and I'm not sure what it will do to our pitchers using a bigger ball or messing with hitters timing.

Any input will help, thanks!

if you decide to play 12u I would recommend having them practice the week before to adjust to the ball. I believe they will be fine and see the ball well. You have a solid scrappy little team. i enjoyed watching them play at the FFM.

Hitters will be fine. My daughters team did that early this year but we picked up 2 U12 pitchers to sub. I know the pitching coaches for our pitchers didn't want the girls going back and forth with the ball size and distance difference.

Thanks, we have been trying to get in the Indy State tournament and haven't had any luck but we are now headed to Toledo to play that weekend. Thanks for the help!

I agree! My dd always had a hard time adjusting. She was a pitcher, the position players didn't have a hard time adjusting. Hitters were also fine. Good luck!
