spc hotsox '04 took second place at Slam Series. Lost to Valley Force in the finals and Pool. Victories over ohio fever, ohio platinum, and ohio lightning blue. We are at Sheer Madness this weekend.

 

[stampede04]

Ohio Stampede 04 won its 3rd consecutive championship, going 6-0 this weekend. We've continued our winning streak, extending it to 18 games. Last loss was a 7-4 loss to Beverly Bandits on May 14th.
We are off this weekend and will be in Loudonville next weekend.

Wolfpack 04 went 7-1-1 at Laser Nation losing in the semifinals to Lasers Red. Played well thru injuries and not a full roster for the weekend. We are at Sheer Madness this weekend.

Ohio Stingrays 05 went 5-3 at Lasers with 2 close losses to Wolfpack 04 and Central Ohio lady vipers 04 in pool play. Wins in pool play against Buckeye Heat Robbins, Miami Valley express 05, Finesse Peters, and Ohio Hawks gold 05 . Won 1st round bracket play against Usssa Pride gray 04 then lost a close game to Indiana dreams 04 4-2. Proud of our girls, they played hard all weekend.

 

[Lasers 04]

Lasers Red '04 took Second Place at Laser Nation this weekend. This was our first "in state" tournament since winning Battle at Berliner on April 15, beating Lasers Blue (3-1) in the Championship game. Overall, we went 9-1 at Laser Nation and during Sunday bracket play we beat Starz '04 (6-3), Wolfpack '04 (4-1), and Ohio Lightning Gold (10-1). We ended up being the last Ohio team left standing on Sunday, losing in the Championship game to Indiana's Red Alert (3-4).

Ohio Stingrays 04 finished tied for 3rd at Laser Nation. We finished the weekend with a 8-1 record. Lost 6-5 to Red Alert 04. Good weekend and looking forward to Sheer Madness.

Ohio Starz 04 played pretty well defensively this past weekend at Laser Nation but our offense was absent.. I've seen teams go cold at the plate but our team was absent. No excuses for our L's, we need to still find ways to win. I will say one thing hitting or not hitting, A game or B game our team will not quit, they will go down to the final out. That says a lot about these girls. We faced some really good teams this weekend and had a very tough pool.. Looking forward to playing some of these teams again. Once again a very well ran tourney from Lasers Nation.
