With bat testing at most National events, I've personally witnessed HR numbers decreased. The decrease might be a result of better teams, better pitching, different climates, etc.

Or

Maybe the numbers weren't down everywhere, just our event.

I'd love to hear if numbers were up or down at various venues.

Gold Nationals in Clearwater, were down dramatically. Fences were 220 down the lines, and God knows what to center. Very disappointing.

I think the lower HR's are due to the lower compression balls more than anything.

In Normal... the ball found fence a lot! Indiana Shockwaves hit back to back to back jacks in one game. Frost/Emeralds game there were a total of six! All fences set at 200'. But many a girl clearing that with ease.
