This week we was on our first by in 7 weeks. We play at the Mingo Madness Logan, Ohio. Last of our 2 local tournaments for family. We tried to enter the 12u but it was to late so we had to stay in the 10u division.

Ohio Ice Blue played at Loudonville this past weekend. We went 2-0 in pool play with wins over the Black Widows and Wizards Gold. We could not get the bats going on Sunday and lost to a very good Beverly Bandits 09 team that finished runner up. We are playing this coming weekend in Akron at the Fastpitch Showdown.

Ohio Stingrays 08 went 6-0 this weekend winning the Total KAOS Fastpitch tournament in Covington Kentucky.

Lasers Orange went 4-2-1 on the weekend at the ASA State Tourney finishing as runners up to a much improved Finesse Munoz team. Finesse made plays and hit the ball all weekend so congrats to them on a job well done.

The Ohio Storm 08 had a great weekend at the Loudonville Tournament. The team went 3-1 and lost to Wolfpack-Wolff in a very close game in the 2nd round of bracket play, in what I think was probably the best 10U game I have seen in along time. The teams battled back and forth, both made some great defensive plays, had great pitching, both pitchers went 7 innings and there was 6 scoring changes, an ITB and the Wolfpack came out with a 5-4 win. How close was this game? Wolfpack 5 runs 6 hits 1 error, Storm 4 runs 5 hits 1 error, Wolfpack pitcher 7 innings 6 k's 3 walks, Storm pitcher 7 innings 8 k's 3 walks. Coaches, players, parents and fans from both teams were class acts, just an overall great game between 2 very good teams, from 2 great organizations.
