Since this Covid19 outbreak has blown up all of our ladies playing time for there college teams and now potentially finishing there careers due to there schools closing or there our sport being eliminated What are there are there options?
When there allowed to play again ,why arnt the major Fastpitch associations not creating classifications for these ladies to continue playing past 18u ?
With this downturn in play in the college game there needs to be a focus on getting these college girls that will return and those who can't or will need to transfer some exposure.Lets here some ideas from our brighter bulbs on this site.

Tri-State USSSA offers 3 events for Women's (18+) division!!!
All in Cincinnati area
June 8-9 Slugfest - will be August 1-2 if we are not allowed to play in June...

June 27-28 38th Annual Smokey Baker - will be Aug 8-9 if we are not playing in June

July 18-19 - Tri-State/Great Lakes Championship

If you already have a team registered, you can sign your team up now! Otherwise, USSSA should be allowing teams to register again at beginning of May.
We have ran these same events on the past with the 18+ division. We averaged 7-9 teams in each of these 3 events last year. Hoping those numbers go way up with the fact they have not gotten to finish their seasons this year!

Feel free to contact me with any questions!

You can register teams right now. USSSA never shut off that part of the website. They have just suspended sanctioning for all events for right now. I am sure they are about to lift that as some states will be playing again some day.

The temporary suspension was so someone did not go rogue on USSSA.

We are the small window of USSSA business. There was a 400 team Baseball Nit in Atlanta in early April that had to cancel and another 750+ teams in the Kansas City area slated for May 15-17 weekend that may have to cancel also. Gotta be a terrible feeling watching in the case of the KC event with a $500 entry fee, a total of $375K in entry fees have to be refunded back. Some directors do not take that much in for entry fees for an entire season fall included. :(
