Not a newbie...but still an umpire.

At least, I think that I still remember how to do it. This has been a horrible year! Normally, I’d have worked at least 60-75 games by this time of year. This season, I have five total games. Almost all leagues and all tournaments around me have been cancelled. I’m just hoping that we get out in the field a few more times in the fall.

I feel sorry for the umpires. I’m sure quite a few of them depend on the extra income from the few I talk with when I was hosting tournaments. And with all the lost incomes for many family’s I’m sure it would have been nice to at least have game pay coming in.
