I don't know if I am posting this in the right area but I will try a couple different areas I am looking for a pitching coach that would not mind working with a 15 year old my daughter stated that she would like to learn pitching and I believe that might help her out in the long run willing to travel within a half an hour of time if anybody has suggestions

I’d start with a local high school girl, if there’s any good ones in the area. She can get the basics and graduate up from there.

Thank you. Will have her workout with some after her first training lessons

I think you need to look for a coach somewhere near your place of residence. Forum participants can advise different specialists, but it is not a fact that it will be convenient for you to take your daughter to trainings. What sports schools and sections are there near you?

The child must be very motivated to continue training on their own. Very few adults are able to stick to a workout schedule unless they have a paid gym membership and an agreement with a trainer. What can we say about children? Of course, some train conscientiously, but many have probably given up on training.

It's been my observation that girls are more willing to practice and train if somebody will at least be with them and watch. You may not need to participate although it is normally welcomed. To find a young lady motivated to do on her own is so refreshing to hear. ALISA WEAVER comments are spot on in my opinion.

This work ethic will probably be a staple in the young lady's life. Ralph v. Smith is a lucky man. Good job dad!!!

Thank you it's been rough but I have noticed that since I have been taking my daughter up to the local rec center that a couple of girls that was up there just to get out of the house has been playing and asking us questions. I was very happy to see some young ladies wanna do something different instead of talking with boys.
