WEST is coming of an impressive 13-5 win vs North Canton Hoover while Holland Springfield bounces out two teams that gave them 4 of their 6 regular season losses Anthony Wayne and Watkins Memorial. They are on quite a roll but can they score enough?

Oh now passion has Lakota west?lol

Well yea. 2 options to choose.

Lakota West was never the issue.

The player they had that thought it was ok to play travel during school ball season was the issue.

I still feel Watkins Memorial is the Best HS team in Ohio. Followed by Lancaster and Gahanna Lincoln is not far behind them.

When you look back at what WEST did all year in the GMC with only 2 losses (1 by forfeit) and the out of state competition they faced with IN Roncalli and Floyd along with a couple TN teams that went far in their state tournament what they did was amazing.

Scoring 67 runs in the playoffs with (22 runs coming in the the last two contest) is amazing.
The umpire yesterday was giving both pitchers 4 to 6" on the outside of the dish. So much Springfield kept the shift on most of the game in the OF and half of the game with the IF and WEST still found holes.

The GMC battles this year with OH, Mason were epic.
Its not like the cupboard is empty after this year for WEST. Their JV and bench was strong as 23 ladies seen time at varsity this year for WEST.
Oak Hills that went toe to toe with WEST in 3 contest this year had 20 ladies see varsity playing time along with a very young Mason team that will have some strong talent coming back next year.
