10u/12u winter preseason coaches poll!!

Most of the younger teams are done playing outside and have not yet started there indoor tournaments. Due to many requests from 10u and 12u Coaches I will hold a 10U and 12U Winter Preseason Coaches poll the week of Nov 21st. I will post on Sunday night a call for votes and will post results Wednesday Nov 23rd.

All regular Poll rules apply.

1. Only 1 team representative (Coach) from a team can vote
2. You must give your name and team that you are representing
3. Must vote for 10 teams in #1-10 order

Lets use this thread over the next week to hear how your teams did this fall. I understand alot of friendlies are played in the Fall, and coaches use them to try out different lineups.

Please do not send me any votes until I call for them on Nov 20th!!

Finesse 05 - Henegar (fka Wizard Young Guns) did not play nearly as much as other teams during this fall but we did test the 12U waters and learned we can hold our own and gave us plenty to work on during the indoor training season. Here are our fall results:

Thunder Elite 06 finished 9-3 this fall. Lost to Pitt power 06 in the championship game in Thunder Elite fall league. We have now moved indoors for the winter. We will have several friendlies this winter. We will play Spano Dome, and Canton indoor. Thunder Elite 06 is look forward to our true 06 year. Good luck to the rest of the 10u team this year. Very reasonable. A few of these tournaments we paid nothing to play in. Others were put on by our org which resulted in a savings. We spent very little to play this fall.

Congrats to Thunder 04! Lots of good Southern teams there for sure. The big call is the number of fall tournaments your doing. You guys will slingshot nicely into the spring. My magic 8 ball poll prognosticator puts your team in top 3 for 2017! Good luck to all. Sounds like a strong 12U group. Lasers, Stingrays, and Outlaws need to make sure they are in the same turneys!

And as Rose and countless others have stated.. "It matters who you play!" Stay humble and take a crack at more 14U's to stay dialed in. Saw you played WV diamond dusters and lost, but I bet you got better!!!

The old Lasers white 02 played up at 14 and 16 as 12's almost all year and it served them very well!

I had a few questions on voting for teams from other states that primarily play in Ohio events. The Coaches Poll is open to all teams that are sanctioned in the state of Ohio. So if a team is eligible to play at Ohio ASA/NSA/USSSA States or registered through OHIO PGF then they will be considered an Ohio team for voting/ranking purposes.
