Lasers Teal won the ASA State Championship this weekend at Berliner. It was a very well run tournament. Wendell did a great job handling all of the diamond changes and getting communication out to everyone.

5-0 for the weekend. Per GC, we are now at 80-10-2 for the season, (although some of those are from scrimmages), with 8 championship wins.

We are off next weekend and will be playing next at Stingrays.

Thunder Elite 06 was at ASA states.

Friday was a rain out, blind draw straight to bracket play. We battled two of the best teams in Ohio. Although we fell short, we had our opportunities to win those games.
Congrats to Teal on the championship.

We will stay local this week and play in Champion at the Ohio Blast firecracker frenzy. Then travel to Columbus the following weekend for Stingrays.

Ohio Thunder 007 went 6-0 this weekend & won the Championship of the Summer Games @ Beavercreek event!

Central Ohio Ice was in Beavercreek for the summer games and I always love going to this tournament the facility is very nice and with all the rain we had Friday they got the fields ready and all pool play happened Saturday so credit to Terry Folino and his crew. So the ladies went 4-2 this weekend loosing both games to Ohio Thunder 007 man for this team to be all 07 they are amazing and definitely baring injury and them staying together will be the team to beat. Congrats to all the girls and coaches for another successful and fun weekend. Our overall record is 34-8-1 and we have not hid from the big dogs at all.

007 7-12 L them young ladies really came to play in that game they hit our number one like know one had this year solid shots and they are well coached and a class act. All their parents are great and all their girls were great competitors and it was a back and forth game very exciting. So congrats to those girls and coaches.

Ohio Ice White was at the ASA State tournament this weekend. As what seems to be the norm this summer, rain messed up our pool play so it was a blind draw for bracket play. We ran into a very hot Laser Teal team who was playing at the top of their game this weekend and they send us to the loser bracket early, which made for a long Sunday. Our girls played very tough on Sunday to try to fight to get back to the ship but fell one game short. We were able to beat three top 10 teams on Sunday so we did get to play some great teams. Congrats to Lasers Teal for playing great and winning it all, and congrats to Lasers Silver for making it to the finals. Fortunatly for us both teams in the finals already had their bid for nationals so we were awarded our bid for coming in 3rd so we are exited to be going to Findley for ASA Nationals!!! We are in Pittsburgh next weekend and then Stinrgays. Good luck to everyone and looking forward to seeing many of the teams in Columbus in a few weeks.

Big Katz 07 traveled to Logan for Mingo Madness and was sent home early. As some very young teams experience, that 1 inning can inhibit you from winning and continuing on in the tournament. Very rarely do we have problems throwing strikes, but it seemed to come up and get us this tournament. Growing pains of a young team, sheesh.. 0-3-1 this weekend

Wizards Frenzy was in action at ASA State this weekend. Pool play was washed out and we got started against a top team in the state. It was an interesting weekend to say the least...down 1 player to prior injury, lost another 10 minutes before our first game to an illness(yep...that was our ambulance), but we battled anyway. Hope to come back to Stingrays at full strength and improve our results.

Lasers Silver played at berliner in the ASA State tourney, once again we were able to make it to the championship and ran into the hottest team in the tournament. Congratulations to Teal, they looked really good this weekend as you can tell by the score against us and Ice. Overall we are 66-11-3, the only Ohio teams we have lost to are Teal and Ice. We are 4-3 vs Teal and 1-4-1 vs Ice

Starz 07 won Mingo Madness this past weekend. Played really solid defense and had timely hitting up and down the line-up. We are off this coming weekend for a nice break after a 3-week run. We will be back at it in two weeks @ Gahanna.

Finesse Flores placed fourth at ASA states this weekend in Columbus. Unfortunately all our pool plays were rained out.

L Lasers Teal 4-6 This was decided in international tiebreaker for the second consecutive tournament. We were leading 3-1 with 4 minutes to go. We were unable to hold our lead in the final inning. International Tiebreaker again went to Teal. They play until the final out.

L Ohio Ice White 2-8 Too good of a team to come out flat against.
