I have stated many times that at the NSA Worlds the head ump and TD had to be on site of the 10U because of all of the chaos. Almost every game had an ejection.....either one or both coaches.

To all mentioned on the list; congrats from the Diamonds. You all deserve props for being recognized as having a great team. This really says a lot about the coaches too. Kudos to you. What goes into being a coach at this level is exhausting at times. Thanks for all that you do.

I am with you Ohioice221. Too much of a big deal , just play the game. Whatever happened to meeting other coaches and building rivals and friendships. I see too many coaches that do it for themselves, not the girls. If you have an awesome team, so be it and congratulations!!! Take your team, win the tournament, go home with a smile and a trophy and tell your kids they did a great job. After the first poll was published, and the comments after that poll were made, it seems to have moved to another level. Solve your differences on the fields, not the 10u poll. These teams in the top ten are good teams, but personally I could care less who is ranked where. Maybe the elite teams can come up with their own nationals then post it on OFC. Wow!! the world might be a better place for P4P!! And by the way P4P, that is a very interesting "notables list" you came up with.

As an assistant coach of a team who has played 5 of these noteable teams, i have to say that most of these coaches are doing it for the girls ! Unfortunetly some were so arrogant you could just tell it was all about them selves ! By the way the Marion Diamonds coaches & players were very friendly !

My 18U team is looking for a couple scrimmages...we'll see how good these 10U teams are!!!

Can't we just all get along. Lol. I think a end of the year tourney is a great idea. The top ten teams play for all the marbles. Everybody agree on the criteria and let's get it on. The girls would love to have an excuse to play in another tournament. Just remember this game is much bigger than us...it's about the kids and they could probably care less about what ranking they are.

Chill out!! These are polls, they are for fun. Just because your team isn't on the poll or isn't as high as you think they should be means NOTHING!!!! I couldn't give 2 cr@ps if my team makes a poll or not, get over yourself.

Just out of curiousity... I see 9 first place votes... does that mean that only 9 people voted?
I am not sure that I could put too much salt in this voting process other than "it is for entertainment purposes only - (mentioned above)". I am sure that it is cool to get mentioned but I am not sure it is anything to lose sleep over...
Use it as a motivator... "ladies... we ain't gettin' the respect.... Let's go out and kick some back side."
Other than that... it is nine peoples opinions... some of those 9 may have never seen your team play... so how could they "give you props" if they haven't seen you...

Yes it means that 9 coaches have voted for that week. If you look at past years, 9 voters is about average. Last season I thinked the 10u poll peaked at 14 coaches voting in a particular wek. So as it is not all inclusive, the Poll is a small sample of who the 10u coaches around the state think are the most deserving of "Top 10" status.
