I agree, these rankings are for fun. I have had a little time to reflect on the past couple months. What I have seen from all these 10U teams across the State, is a lot of talented, athletic, competitive, dedicated young ladies and committed coaches. But what a crazy season it has been so far with these teams in these rankings. As projected, teams are beating up on each other week in and week out in these tournaments, and there is still about 8 weeks left in the season. From top to bottom, this level of 10U play is some of the best I've seen in awhile.

I will speak for myself and want to take a minute and give a shout of respect out to these younger 09 teams and their coaches, who don't get recognized in these rankings. Those teams who week in and week out, show up at tournaments and challenge your team to play against the top 10 teams in these rankings. I will not name those teams, but most all of us coaches know who you are. Those teams that are getting run ruled and beat up by these top teams week in and week out, and you just keep coming back to play the top teams. I and the Storm have the utmost respect for you coaches and your teams. The Storm being a true 9U team last year, was one of these teams and knows that feeling, but didn't shy away from playing the best teams, and it made our team better. Keep doing what you are doing and I expect to see your teams in the 10U top 10 next season, because playing these top teams only makes you better.

I agree 100% with all of this.

Richard I 2nd your comments. I know it’s hard to keep telling your kids that if they keep working hard it will pay off... I commend the true 09’s and new teams who battle each weekend!

I would like to bring up a team that I have been following very closely all year. Kudos for Coach Jamie and Pack08 for mentoring the young Wolfpack09 Team as they will be a top contender next year. Even though we haven’t played them (except for an indoor game way back), they have put a schedule together that has been fair and test worthy. Even a huge win vs a fellow 09 team last week in their own backyard. I commend their coaches and families who have been putting the work and continue to get better week in and week out. Good luck with the rest of your season Pack09!!

Especially tough when they see their peers taking home hardware, rings, awards every week at subpar tournaments. 0 outdoor championships, we talk constantly about improving and competing against the best every week.
