These 2 teams play up in 14's in the 270 league for practice, which isn't a bad idea. Not trying to help their cause, just stating a fact.

Everybody knows the classics should be on this list, maybe their coach does not vote, I vote for them but if their name is not in front of peoples eyes then it is easy to forget them as well. I have coached 12u for 4 years now and I think this is the most competition I have seen at this level ever. There are so many excellent 12u teams this year that anyone can win on any given day. I do think some are more consistant than others and that is why they stay ranked high. Everyone needs to understand these polls are for fun and quit taking it to heart. If you are only in this to win no matter what then I think you are in it for the wrong reason, my opinion. I am in it to compete and get the girls ready for highschool and then college. If you look at our track record I think you will see that we have done a pretty good job of that as an organization. Don't get me wrong, winning is fun but learning the game and competing game in and game out is what it is all about.

How can team's that play in easy tournaments be in the Top 10 and team's that play in big tournaments aren't? That makes no since.

BIGfan it is summer now not the fall. The stingrays beat the classics in marysville a few weeks back.And beat the dragons 9-0 at the same tournament.They also tied the lasers red at laser nation.WOOPPPEEE.All I know is the red and ice are the most consistent when playing good teams.

So many dads and moms take this voting to heart. I know for a fact a couple of teams don't deserve to be there and that's for all age groups! My DD is 14--i don't even care who's ranked in the 12's! Ease up fastpitch dad.

BigFan... You are talking about beating teams in the fall, we (Ohio Glory) are not even the same team as in the fall... The Classics are a nice team and deserve to be recognized as such, but beating 2 teams on this list (in the fall) is not that big of a deal... Our record versus teams on this list are as follows:

The fall tournaments do count, "itsaboutthegame". If they didn't, then why would you go play in them? And yes, it is a big deal because it still goes on your record and it still helps you get better & BEAT TEAMS. Now, who do you really think shouldn't be on the Top 10 list?

Big fan i could careless if we win a tournament or not or if we are ranked.just as long as my dd is learning and getting better that is the only thing i care about

Didn't say that they didn't matter... Just simply stated that we are not the same team as in the fall, as I'm sure most teams are not. I can tell you that we have played 8 teams in the top 10 and have seen HoO Nitro play and I could make a case for any of those teams... Have not seen Ohio Danger so I can't say anything positive or negative about them. On top of that there are numerous other teams that could make a case for the COACH'S votes. The Classics are a very good team and could make a case just like the rest of us, but I have not seen them play since the fall!

A little birdie told me the Stingrays just took a hit from the Classics 12u yesterday, loosing to them in the chamionship.

Finally, Classics are a better team than the Stingrays. When I heard the Stingrays beat the Classics, I figured the Classics were having a bad day. Good to hear that Classics beat them and took first place.
