I want to thank the Hawks for hosting this event today. It was a great day for softball. BTW...my bald spot is burnt bad.

I want to thank the Hawks 98 White, the Dragons, and the Redhawks for the games today. This was the first time our team has played together...not even a practice. We now know what we need to work on and all your teams were great examples. The Tippecanoe Force would like to wish you all good luck this season.

You find out where you are by measuring your team up against others... take what you learned and develop a practice plan based on it.. thanks for coming down - it was great to see you guys!

Thanks to Doug and his crew for takin on yet another scrimmage day for us. Got to see how rough, rusty, or ugly it could be. Few glimers of hope before I left. Good luck to the Stingrays for we won't see you much this year if at all. I'm sure we'll see the Hawks and Dragons some more. Thanks again to all.

The skydivers were a nice touch I thought. A little expensive but the Hawks like to go "all out" for our events and provide entertainment for the young ones who get dragged along

Doug - perhaps at a future tournament we could send up a "Hawk Flag" with one of them?

It was great to see you guys Les ... get a hold of me, we can setup a scrimmage on a Friday evening at Smith Park with you or our Hawks Gold/White teams would love some field time as well... we can go 2 hours at no cost...

Doug - Thanks again for getting yesterday's event put together - There is no better way to put together a practice plan than by benchmarking your team against other great teams in the area. Your squad is obviously well coached and is loaded with talent - Looking forward to seeing you again.

Les, it was great to get some time in the dirt with you and your squad as well - We would love to get a chance to play you when you are at full strength. All that I have heard about the class of your organization is spot on.

Jay - Sorry to hear about the injury to your ace pitcher - Even without her you guys were a great test. I think I would have to give a crane kick to a parent if I lost one of mine just before the season starts ;&

Funny Story.. my left fielder, Joey is easily distracted (nuff said) - her dad is one of my coaches and we both spend a good deal of time - re-focusing her ... (lol) ... friday we had a practice at Smith park and we divided the team up into 2 6 player teams and let them 'scrimmage' - coaches played the OF .. girls all infield positions. About the 3rd inning one of our girls hit a nice fly to the RF'r coach.. who was leaning back staring up in the sky watching the sky divers - he never saw the ball that hit 6 feet from him!

Joey was on third and yelled - 'DAD!!! Pay attention!!! ' - it was hilarious .. like father like daughter...

All day yesterday the girls was telling him, hey look planes and skydivers...

I would like to echo Thanks to the Hawks for a great event yesterday. It was exactly what we needed. The players had a great time and we walked away with some very clear direction to upcoming practice plans around.

Thank you Hawks 98 Gold, Hawks 98 White, and Tippecanoe Force for sharing the diamond with the RedHawks.

Doug - We truly appreciate the opportunity to join the party yesterday. Great event!

Stingrays, thanks for the props. We loved see you there! First time ever in 3 years!! We plan on changing that for 2011. You guys are always top notch and put a solid group on the field. Thanks for the props and yeah... can't wait to be full strength. No takeaways... all teams played us tough and we couldn't be happier!!

I guarantee part of the scrimmage money went to the skydivers...wonder what Doug will do next??
