You can have the whole school team together between June 1st and July 31st as long as the coach in not affiliated with the high school team. If you qualify for a national, you may participate in that in the month of Aug.
It is during Fall tournaments and Fall ball that you can only have up to 4 girls on a team.

Scott is correct - with the addition that if your team goes to a National/World Series that is in August they can play together in the final tourney as a team.

RE...Dayton Metro ASA/USA qualifier I love it that a team will win this birth other then the top 3 teams in state.
Ohio SHOULD have a larger # then 4 representing Ohio this year. As last year it was dis-appointing to see only 4 teams at ASA/USA Nationals from Ohio.

Its possible a team outside of Ohio could win this berth. However ASA States has 4 berths, ASA Region 9 has 1, Cleveland Metro has 1 and there is another NQ in Canton. With all that said, I sure would feel good to get the berth out of the way in Dayton buth there is too much softball to be played to worry about that.

I think the Central Ohio Heat is a nice team flying under the radar. They will be at the ASA state, Gapss and Stingrays. Has anyone else seen this team? I am in the 16u world but curious about this team.

I still have 3 girls in State regional. I had 5 as of Friday. Got two back. It is hard. I can't wait to get the whole team together.

Are you talking about the team that started with a base in Licking County? If so, they are indeed good. We played them in the Halloween Howl fall tournament. I'm not sure how deep they are at pitch, because I think we only saw their #1.
