ASA Tournament 15th Annual Great American Premier Softball Showcase (GAPSS 2017) - July 14-16, 2017

GAPSS 2017 is now accepting team registrations to be considered for the 15th Annual tournament held in July 14-16, 2017 in Powell/Lewis Center Ohio

We have some exciting announcements for the 2017 tournament.

1) We have implemented a new website and tournament management system which will allow us to more effectively communicate with participating teams, college coaches, fans, etc... The new website allows for fully integrated on-line registration and supports both credit card payments and check payments. www.gapss.org

2) At the 2017 tournament 14u, 16u and 18u will be 5 game guarantees (4 pool games and single elimination tournament), 1 hour 30 minute time limits for all pool and bracket games. 10u and 12u will remain a 4 game guarantee (2 pool games and double elimination tournament).

3) We are introducing a 23u age group. The 23u will consist of a 5 game guarantee (5 round robin pool games with top 2 teams playing in championship game). Games will not start earlier than 6:30pm Friday.

Fees:
10u / 12u / 23u - $450
14u / 16u / 18u - $650

Registration will close on December 9, 2016
Participating teams will be notified by December 30, 2016
Full refunds will be provided to non-participating teams by no later than January 16, 2017
Any open spots remaining after December 30, 2016 will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

So far we have teams registered from Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ontario Canada AND we have twice as many teams registered right now as we did at this time during the registration process last year.

This is shaping up to be a great tournament with great competition at all age groups.

We are changing the 23u age group to 19+ age group based on feedback from interested participants. The format will remain the same. 19+ will consist of a 5 game guarantee (5 round robin pool games with top 2 teams playing in championship game). Games will not start earlier than 6:30pm Friday.
