We want to thank Paul and all the Danger family for hosting a great tournament this weekend. We enjoyed our games and enjoyed watching the great talent on all the fields. Thanks for bringing in the sun and the heat too.

We want to thank Nitro, Danger, Heat, and the Hawks for the games. We were all impressed with the top notch teams all of you have. We knew coming in that we were up for a big challenge and I'm proud of how our ladies responded, even after our big loss to the Danger.

Doug, thanks for the kind words before our game today. I was glad to see our ladies finally start making some contact with the ball.

The Valley Storm wishes everyone a successful season. Maybe we will run into you again somewhere this summer. Good luck!

Scott

I meant every word of it... our coaches watched your games Sat we all noticed that your kids were doing the 'little' things right - hitting cutoffs, taking an approach to the at bat, communicating etc... Scott you have them on the tight path - I love to see it .. just will take more practice and work and next season at the DZ they will get some wins and be on their way...

Great warm up with some top notch teams. Playing at this level will get us ready for Beavercreek next weekend and the season, in general.

Coach Scott- Your girls were all doing the right things...saw a lot of improvement from Sinclair (i.e Nitro game on Friday night), and they never hung their heads...says a lot to me!

Great weather, overall and the best ball-playing we'll see in one weekend!!

This was an excellent, well run tournament & our team couldn't have asked for a more competitive warm-up. Thanks to Paul & the Danger for hosting & for having everything ready to go & running smoothly, from the fields, to umpires, parking & concessions. Our team had an excellent experience playing top notch teams. Thanks also to the Hawks (Lenos), Lasers Gray, Nitro, Valley Storm, Danger & Stingrays for several well played games. Most of all, it was great to get to know your coaches, players & parents throughout the weekend. Our team improved from one game to the next, starting out slow vs. the Hawks & building from there. Lost a tough one in extra innings to the Nitro on Saturday, but it was a great game. Congratulations to Matt & the Classics for winning it all. Good luck to everyone throughout the season!!

Congrats to the Classics girls for a great tournament win!!!! We had the opportunity to play them twice and are a better team for it - I would also like to thank the Hawks, Static, Nitro and Heat for some great times - Each team we played this weekend was strong from top to bottom and very well coached - It truly was a blast!!!

Once again Paul, I can't say enough about the tournament - It is what every organization should look for when the put their schedule together - Top notch competition, great facilities, hard working volunteers. Thanks again for all your efforts!

Congrats to Matt and the Classics! What a great 12U tournament that was. I missed the action yesterday practicing with my team. We were putting in some things I learned watching all those great games on Saturday. The most important lesson I took from Saturday is you better bring your "A" game every time out in 12U this year. Every small mistake will cost you against teams like these. Should be a fun Summer!

Could not agree more Matt ... I came away knowing this ... those teams are so close in competition/ability - each has it's strong point, each has a few holes. Each has great coaching in place. Tourney winners each week (if we all played each week) would come down to the draw, a little luck and which team(s) showed up that weekend a little more ready than the others (season eb and flow) and injuries (the biggest factor)... it would be a battle each game... I assume that this group of '98 team plan on staying together for the most part?

I would like to set-up a 'fall' re-match of the teams (we will be 13u) in Dayton (help out the Cincy teams this time) - We will arrange it - keep the cost down to around $300 per team and we can have a fall/spring 'battle' of the 13u's with Danger hosting the spring, us the fall - a bi-annual "98 Throwdown" ... what does everyone think?

Hey Doug, Are we allowed to request an invite to this fall "98 Throwdown"? Not sure if we can make it at this point but we would like to try. We don't make it down that way much but we will be at Stingrays this year. It was great seeing the Static come up here a few weeks ago. Les has a good team and played well at our tournament. It would be nice if we could get some kind of Northern/Southern tournament/friendly swap set up. All you guys south of Columbus come up to NEO one time and I will try to talk some of the teams from up here that are playing at a top level into coming down there once too.
