Coop will be at the coaches clinic. Perhaps we can have him do the eye drills with the cards!

I wont be at the coaches clinic, but will be there all day Sunday. Sorry Howard not card tricks.

Now that makes me sad...we were going to surprise the kids with a magic card trick from you. The Big kids Shayne, Dan, Tim, were especially looking forward to this event....then again we could enlist Chris to pull a rabbit out of his Yankees hat because they can not pull off another winning season or that would be pure magic! Then again maybe we could make it steroid magic and it could be out of a bottle not a hat...yeah think out of the box and imagine pulling a Bugs Bunny on steroids out of a bottle instead of a pin stripe hat!

See you this week end anyway!

To the parents, coaches and players attending the clinic this weekend....

Please provide the kids with pen and paper to write down their thoughts or to sketch a drill on. We ask at every clinic who has a journal or note book and there only a few who do.

There will be a handout given the kids/ coaches however it helps when you think we have class room time and hands on drills time and this is in an effort to reach all the kids not just a few.

We want their brains to sweat a little also by hopefully absorbing what we present and then write down what they want to remember to retain it.

Thanks Crystl and Howard

Wow! Missed all the excitement. Sounds like Coop is pushing his tiddlywinks tourney.

Here is the latest on this weekend. In order to create a bit more room in the Sunday hitting sessions, Howard has kindly agreed to work with a small group of Ice girls on Saturday while Crystl runs the fielding session.

Even with this move, there are only 4 hitting slots available (1 advanced & 3 intro) on Sunday. My email & phone is ringing off the hook, and I am doing my best to return all calls. I think it's safe to say that it will be SRO on Sunday.

The Saturday coaches & fielding sessions, however, are not full. Come one, come all!

Look forward to seeing/meeting everyone.

It makes things a lot easier for players when the coaches understand and buy in to what the player is doing.

Sure wish our HS coach would feel it was important enough to be there.

don't laugh at me, but even though I live close to the school, I have no idea where it is. I just looked up the address so that I could plug it in my GPS.

I just got home from the Clinic and Crystl & Howard did a great job! Well worth going to and entertaining as well. The team work those two have in the delivery to the basic foundation and getting the message across was good. We even got extra time in the clinic from them, I hope we can see them again in future for advancing clinics as well.
Thanks Central Ohio ICE for having this clinic. I will be looking for the next one, sign me up.

Saturday's coaches clinic was great! Both Howard & Crystl took time to really break thing down for us. My wife & I are new to their techniques and we walked away from the clinic feeling like we got enough info. to get our teams started . Thanks a lot!!!

I have to say that I noticed a lot of smaller/less prominent organizations represented by coaches. It was good to see all the coaches that really care to help their players be the best. Those are the kind of coaches I would want my dd playing for.

Is it possible to list the organizations that were represented by players?
