One ASA Sanctioned umpire per game.

(No team will be required to play 3 games in a row without a full game break unless requested due to schedule issues).

Cost will be $100 for teams playing 3 games, $70 for teams playing 2 games. No additional fees or costs - this covers umpires, game balls, and field setup/use costs. No gate fees or parking fees, full concessions are planned, coolers are welcome!

Games will be 7 innings or 1 hour 20 minutes no-new-inning time limit so we can keep on schedule.

Teams will be slotted into pools by age and relative strength.

Games will be played at the Fairfield Township park located behind Fairfield North Elementary School, just minutes from Bridgewater Falls Shopping Center located at Bypass 4 and Princeton Rd just North of SR 129 in Fairfield Township.

Fields will be available prior to first games for warmups. For teams arriving later in the day, there should be room for pregame warmups in other areas of the park / school facilities.

Are you only taking 3 teams for the competitive 10u?

For the 10U pools, changed wording to better reflect that both pools can have competitive teams. We will do our best to build the pools in a manner that competition is as evenly matched as possible. The Magic 10U - Nelson team is a first year select team with several 9u players; most of the players have fastpitch experience and they will be entering competitive select tournaments.

Thanks for getting us in on Saturday. We are coming off JH season for a lot of these kids (yes, my 6th graders are playing up on a 7th grade team) and the season has been tough to get games in. Looking forward to playing (5) games this weekend. Any close places to eat that can accommodate a team? Thx.

Full concessions are planned at the fields, but in addition there are quite a few options at the Bridgewater Falls complex (Chili's, Max & Erma's, La Pinata, Chipotle, Nocce's Pizzaria, Chick-Fil-A (Saturday Only) and Panera). Across Bypass 4 near Walmart there is also Buffalo Wild Wings, Subway, Timmy's Wok, Applebees, Culvers, Arbys, Frisch's.

Just a few minutes in other directions you can find LaRosa's, Marcos Pizza, Skyline and other favorites.

** Friday evening update **

First pass of rain tonight has left the fields playable. We will be assessing the field conditions early in the morning and as necessary will call teams with earliest games if there is a need to push game times back. We have some cushion build into the schedule and can start later in the morning and still get 1 hour 15 minute drop dead games in on Saturday if we are forced to start later.

Coaches should have my cellphone - don't hesitate to call on Saturday morning if you have questions.

** Saturday Night Update **

All games (17) were played on Saturday either on-time or most started a little early. The fields when we left tonight were in great shape. We will be at the fields between 7:00 am and 7:30 am to see where we stand for Sunday - there is a chance of rain / storms tonight, but if we listened to the weathermen we wouldn't have been playing softball much on Saturday!

I will make phone calls to coaches / umpires in the morning if it looks like there will be any delay. As possible, we will start when teams and umpires are ready.
