You couldn't even get the scores if you were there. Nothing posted at the site. Very disorganized. All afternoon Friday people were walking around Kettering fields trying to figure out where to play. No brackets on wall. No one around except at the gate and the one person was busy collecting money. Two versions of the brackets with different field assignments were printed off the web site and floating around so lots of confusion on which field to play. Some teams had to move after settling in to play. Ump's were walking around talking about not knowing where they should be or other ump's were at where they were told to go. Did not expect to see any of that.
Fields were okay. Batter's box and more relining would be nice not that big a deal. No fences on most fields stinks but it is what it is. Ump's were like most tourneys. Some very good and some really bad with some in between. ha
Concessions were awful but you could bring in your own stuff so not that big a deal. I would go back and expect it to be better next year. BUT....BUT, we played our first bracket game as a number one seed against a 3 seed, not a 4 seed AND it was a team in our pool. You should never be going into bracket play against your own pool. Our first game of the tourney, of 2 pool games and our third game were against the same team. WTF? That is another part of the disorganization that I'm sure will get better.

Scores?
Would reallly really really like to know where to see scores posted. When you are not at the field it STINKS not being able to see scores of later games. Where can I look? Did I miss it? I looked on facebook and cant find a thing??

Fields 8 and 9 should not be used anymore this tournament, they are awful. The bases are 1 to 2 inches below grade and the umpires refused to clear them unless repeatedly asked. The pitching rubber on 9 was even further down and girls had to step up and over the front lip.
On a side note ASA, USSSA, NSA, IFA and more have rules against taunting and harassing the other team. Then why is a team allowed to bring one of those big speakers boxes right up by the field and if they win play the rap song " You may win some, but this aint one" very loud and repeating. These things should not be allowed near the field at anytime, can i bring an air horn or cow bell?Nope

Normally I would never complain but the fields could use relining more than once a day. Get a chalker and me and a few other dads will take care of it. We will work for frosty beverages so we are cheap

Yahtzee! It's been a while. I agree with you on the fields. Case in point, batter bunts, takes a step out of the box in front of home plate, ball hits her in the leg and she kicks it.......of course everyone on one side is screaming "she's out of the box" (which is was VERY obvious she was). Umpire looked down, looked up, shrugged his shoulders and pointed to the ground. There is no chalk to be seen anywhere on the entire field, let alone try to determine a box, so foul ball, she batted again and of course, base hit.

Not an easy thing to organize and run a tourney of this size. We definitely had several field issues ... weeds/grass growing everywhere out of the infields on both of the back fields where we played our pool games, sunken bases and pitcher's plate, no batter's boxes, etc. In our first bracket game, field was in better shape but pitcher's plate was about 37'. No temp fences on any of the 4 fields we played on. Lots of last minute confusion and field changes on seeding of brackets. I understand some of the issue lies with the dependence on the city workers ... but it was just not up to the standards of what I have come to expect over the years from an ASA/USA qualifier.

Only difference from last year to this was temp fences on 3 fields....the rest was as poor as you can imagine....surprised by some of the umpire behavior, as well....sure there were plenty of bad calls (always are 
), but I saw 2 umpires verbally abusing argumentative coaches after games....just walk away, dude....you're supposed to be the paid professional....there were two umps in DD's games that she said she liked, I agreed with her.....the only things worse than the field conditions were the only two Port o Cans that were not cleaned out, and filled to capacity (literally) on Saturday afternoon......Ringor rep was cool, though.
