Rio Grande in Ohio doesn't sound right and Wikipedia confirms it - The University of Rio Grande (pronounced "Rye-O")... lol

Just wanted to say that I thought this tournament was Great!! Very well run with text updates..fields... etc.
Our team had a great time!! (Diamond CHIX) Where else can you pay 525.00 and get 8 games in 3 days!!

Our team has done other showcase tournaments that cost 725.00 Plus! to play 5-6 games and very few college coaches.
We had several college coaches watching our games along with pulling flyers on our girls and even colleges that pulled me aside to talk about a couple of the girls.

As a coach I still like playing for something... most college showcases are just that.. at least with this tournament you get college exposure along with playing for something!

Great job Doug!!

Brent - THANKS!!!

We try and make it better every year.... we now have fences on all 15 diamonds, rest rooms were well maintained, and diamonds in good shape... Thankfully the weather has held out for us every year... next year will be even better - we will be holding the 8,10 and 12u on May 30-31 and 14u-18u on June 6-8th - all at Kettering Park. We are going to put out of town umpires up in a hotel in an attempt to bring in better umpires as well. We continue to draw a few more colleges every year - we were around 25-30 last year.

See you next year ...looking forward to it!

Thats a great plan Doug. Splitting weekends is going to make this tournament even better I feel and more easily run as well.
