Lake Erie Insanity Fastpitch has paired with NSA to bring a world qualifier to Northeast Ohio. The U.S. Army will also join us for this Memorial Day Event. They will conduct opening and closing ceremonies.
Tournament format will be a four-game guarantee, pool play into single elimination bracket. 75 minute games and finish the inning. No time limit for championship games. NSA rules and sanctions apply. (4 game guarantee weather permitting.)
Games will be played at Oberlin Recreation Complex. The Complex is about 5 years old and in excellent condition. Amenities include all 5 fields located together, Kids Play Ground, Sheltered picnic pavilion, dog park, bike trail and several soccer fields for warm up areas. Games will be scheduled during the day and night under the lights. Complex is next door to Splash Zone, an indoor water park operated by the Lorain County Metro Parks. http://www.metroparks.cc/splash_zone.php
Tournament is scheduled to start for Friday evening May 27th. Friday evening games will Only be scheduled if necessary. When signing up please advise tournament director if your team "CAN NOT PLAY FRIDAY".
Prize package: 1[SUP]st[/SUP] place each age group receives NSA World Series Berth, large trophy and individual player awards, 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] place receives medium trophy and individual player awards.
