its not about the tournament now. this organization has the stigma of being cheaters. just because one jack#$s(edgeoo) giving his opinion without knowing. i'm from the cleveland area and don't even know this guy. this guys opinions and comments should be kept in check. he definitely is a basher. plus this was a qualifier so if there is any wrongdoing the asa will have something to say. then this idiot(edgeoo) can say anything he wants. but hay its only my opinion. i dont have all the facts.

First off I would like to say thank you to all the teams that attented and all the great words we recieved about the tournament we have gotten.With that said I would like to clear up a few things, the issue about the Hawks was that they had a couple of girls who played but were not rostered and that means they had illegal players it is not that the girls were too old and shouldn't have been playing for them they just didn't have them down on paper and therefore had to forfeit there games if there was any wrong doing with the intentions of trying to pull a fast one ,well that will come back to bite them in the ---. KARMA, Other than that it was a great tournament and look forward to seeing alot more teams entered next year. We will be Hosting one more tournament in May for the 12u Division and hope we can get about 10 -16 teams entered. This will be an A.S.A. ENQ Also.

Big Mike its good to see someone with knowledge of the situation come out and clear it up. From what I have heard you guys handled it ry well. I also understand that Eric Shroyer (Umpire in charge for this region) was on hand and weighed in on the situation as well. If Eric was satisfied then thats enough for me, he is as good as it gets and nobody knows the rules of ASA better.

Sounds like you guys had a nice tournament and sorry that we could not attend. Keep up the good work.

And here it is, Hopf vs. 'lil Hopf at the Fall Frenzy championship game!!

Hey!! I told everyone Mike & Rob and the quality of those fields would have us playing ball didn't I!!!! Way to go guys, what a great tournament!!! All the teams in the 16u bracket were loaded with talent any any two of the 5 teams could have made it to the championship.

Watching the Mustangs and Storm go into extra innings and then after winning, taking us (Cyclones) in extra innings again in the semi finals, just great fastpitch all day long!

The 16u championship, Cyclones vs. Hawks was another great game - watching El Gato (Cyclones) pitch to Beast (Hawks) was something every dad should get to witness...good stuff!!! :yahoo: (Although is was a long ride home with Beast going 3 for 3 against her sister...:lmao

And thanks to the Hawks for allowing her to get some good playing time in, we definitely appreciate it!!! :cap:

I will say Laurel was an absolute joy to coach this past weekend! She is one tough gal, and is extremelly coachable and easy to get along with. I feel very fortunate for having a chance to work with her when my DD pitched and Laurel caught. Best of luck to her!

Yes Mike, Thanks for stepping up. As the tournament director, you knew these girls. They played for you at one time.

Once again you all run a great tournament and we will be back. I want to apologize to the other 14u teams for the mistake. It messed a lot of teams up with scheduling, because it changed the seating's. I will make sure I proof read my roster before it goes in.
