I know the Dirt Dawgz in the Shreve, Ohio area had an 8u last year. There were few if any travel teams that I know of in the NE Ohio area this season. With the quality of teams in your area, someone should be starting a team soon. Most of the 8u travel teams are in central Ohio, but there are very good teams all through the state. Check the "Tryouts Listing" and be patient while you look...there is an 8u box in the tryouts registry that doesn't function. The only way to know if the organization offers 8u is if they put it in the title. Find organizations near you in the tryouts section and call them. If you are serious about 8u travel ball and are willing to drive for practices, you have lots of choices. The Wizards in northwest Ohio will have at least 3 teams of 8u's again for 2014-2015, see fastsoftball.org.
