Age Classification Questions

The team in question played 16u this past summer. More than half the team will be 16u next year but are playing in an ENQ as a 14u team. Though the girls are 14u till Dec. 31st, there are several that will be 15 at the time of the tournament.

Why are teams in Ohio not playing Fall Ball at the same age you will play in the Spring/Summer like 98% of the rest of the state does???
Hearing about 14U & 16U teams not doing this is absolutely ridiculous!

Saw a Ky team do this 10 years ago , at least it was at 12u . Was the first time I ever saw a Cincy Doom team play , it was Doug Anderson's Doom 95 team , they were 9 or 10 playing up at 12u in Lucasville Oh in the fall.. team from Ky was a group of 13u's still playing 12u in the fall . They eventually met in the finals I believe and the Ky team won in a close game .
