All Sanctioned World Series

That field of teams looks awesome, but how have all those teams "qualified" already for this tourney? The All-Sanctioned World Series requires teams to qualify by finishing in the top 10 in any sanctioned tourney. Just curious.

Seems to me that if you play in a tournement you will finish in the top ten since some tournaments only have 10 or less. So basically you want in your in

I guess what I was asking is how many tournies have already been held this year that that many teams are already qualified? I didn't think sanctioned tournies even really started until April or May.

There have been a ton of qualifying tournaments through the fall and winter. NSA, ASA, AFA, USSSA, NAFA all have had several qualifying tournaments.

The list is updated as of 5-25. thirteen 10u teams and close to thirty 12u so far.

When will schedules for this be out? Would like to know 1st game on friday. I know it said to be prepared to play at 8am but would like to know for sure so i could work as much as possible during these tough economic times. Thanks.

If this is your teams last harah - you owe it to them to go to the opening ceremonies. We are participating in the around the horn team event & have 1 entered in the home run contest and 1 entered in the home to home contest. All the girls are excited about the parade and the pin trading !! Gotta get the pins !! It's crazy

Does anyones know how the home run contest will work with 10u? Do they set up a temporary fence? measure the longest? first time for the home run derby.

We will be sending 2 to the fastest runner & 2 to the home run derby. Should be fun. Have not heard how things will work though.

Looking at the rules on the website thay will go by most HR's or farthest hit ball. The thing with the HR derby is that you have to supply your own pitcher and catcher. Doesn't look like they will be using a pitching machine.
