Could you please list all of the hotels/motels that are offering discount rates for those teams participating in this tournament?

Regarding hotels:

The Best Western in Warren, Ohio is on the preferred hotel list with a 1-800 phone number. Please do not use this number because it is a third party and the Best Western will not honor the reservation! I booked 16 rooms and they were all cancelled without my knowledge, luckily I called the hotel to request and additional room and was told they would not honor it. I called the Best Western Reservation Desk and was also told that the rooms did not have to be honored if booked from a third party or through them. We would have shown up for the tournament with no rooms to stay in.
Just an FYI we will not be staying there and don't advise anyone to.

fastmon & other Managers:

We apologize for your incident with the Best Western. ? ?We are in the process of updating the "preferred hotel list". ? ?We are removing the Best Western, and replacing all "800" numbers with the direct phone number to the remaining listed hotels. ?This will be done by the end of the day today! ?By the end of this weekend we will be adding one to two more hotels. ? ? Please let us know if there have been any other issues with any of the remaining hotels.

Thanks

Are you still attempting to allow those teams interested to scrimmage on that Thursday before the tournament starts?

Also do you have any idea what time play will begin on Friday?

We are still planning on having Thursday night non-tournament games (4 games). ?

Also Firday night games will start at 5:00 p.m. early game, and 6:45 p.m. will be the late game.

Hope this helps.

If it is the same Minor's Gold team that won ASA Nationals, don't the 1st and 2nd place teams get automatic berths for the following year?

what is the cost, and how many total teams can you accomodate to scrimmage on that Thursday?

It depends....

We have four fields available, and depending what time you would want to start we could play a double header. First game could go off at ~6:00 p.m., and second ~ 7:30 p.m.

The cost depends on how many umpires you desire, one umpire need to pay $30, two we would pay each $25. Therefore, the two teams would split the cost, with one umpire it would be $15/team, with two it would be $25/team.

Hope this helps!
