POWER HITTING CLINIC
This clinic will teach the fundamentals of the swing including mental approach, stance, load, stride, hip drive, contact, extension, and follow through in all areas of the strike zone. Emphasis will be placed on improving bat speed and power.
MENTAL TRAINING HITTING CLINIC
This clinic will teach mental training techniques to improve confidence and performance. Mental training topics include understanding the mind body connection, understanding focus, use of routines to develop more consistent play, use of visualization to train your subconscious mind and ways to improve self-talk and focus. These techniques will be incorporated into hitting on tees and front toss. Coach Karen attributes her championship successes formula to these mental training techniques that are proven to help improve confidence and performance. This clinic combines class room instruction with hitting and is recommended for 14U, 16U, 18U, and High School age athletes.
LEFTY SLAPPING CLINIC
This class is for athletes who want to learn or refine their bunting and slapping skills from the left side. It will focus on footwork, bat path, and ball placement for the drag bunt, soft slap, and hard slap.
INSTRUCTOR
Coach Linder, now retired, is a 4 time MAC Coach of the Year with over 800 career college victories and 12 championship titles while coaching at both the DI and DII levels. She is proven in developing championship performers, having coached 11 Academic All Americans, 6 All Americans, 5 professional athletes, 82 All Conference players, and over 200 scholar athletes at the NCAA I, II and NAIA levels. Most recently she coached the 2017 USA 12U Ohio/WV Team in the USA All American Games in OKC.
