Our pitchers practice their craft with the help of our on staff pitching coach - we work on the finer details of playing the position. Our pitchers practice each time the team gets together on areas including: fielding the position, game strategy and secondary plays among others. We encourage you to continue working with your primary pitching coach and add on the work you get with our team to make yourself an even better pitcher.
The Ohio All Americans are professional coached and based in Central Ohio and play a very competitive schedule. With both hitting and pitching coaches on staff we focus on player development. The team is aligned with Mannino’s Grand Slam training facility for training and to supplement our on-field work. We will be fielding a 14U and a 16U team for the 2019/2020 season.
Your Team Pitching Coach:
· Melissa Wright-Rodgers, returns as the team pitching coach. Melissa is a former college All-American softball player and current instructor and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and a great ability to mentor players (www.grandslaminfo.com/about-us/staff/56/melissa-wrightrodgers).
TRYOUT INFO:
Tryouts will be held on Saturday 8/3 and Sunday 8/4.
· Saturday August 3 – Dublin Jerome High School (Varsity Softball Field) – 8300 Hyland Croy Road, Dublin, OH 43016
o 14U from 11am to 1 pm and
o 16U from 1:30pm to 3:30pm
o
· Sunday August 4 - at Dublin Scioto High School (Varsity Softball Field) – 4000 Hard Road, Dublin, OH 43016:
o 14U from 11am to 1 pm and
o 16U from 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Plan to arrive 30 minutes early to warm-up and/or register. Pitchers and catchers may need to stay after so please plan accordingly.
