Yes, I have sold a lot of bats. My DD shares my interest in bats and we buy and sell our fair share. I am getting ready to post up 3 out of her bag, but they are not hot, they s u c k, so they should sell fast. One of them is a Mako that is so bad, DD doesn't want to sell it even though she has outgrown it.

I got 1st dibs when she does!! LOL

I am assuming you are joking about Mako. Because either my DDs old bat was dead or the Mako is pretty hot. She was killing the ball this weekend before her hand got busted open by a throw (super freak accident).

Total joke. The Mako is awesome, but don't say hot, it may be taken the wrong way.

A lot of names being thrown around and fingers pointed, and apparently a whole lot of heresay. There were obviously a whole bunch of people who joined the radio show last night because of this subject, perhaps to see if a "fight" would break out or if they would have to defend themselves. Yet everyone kept pretty quiet, and I was at least expecting someone to answer the question about what is being done with the "authorities" on the subject. I am kind of where Mark T. is and calling BS on the whole thing. I certainly hope it wasn't because of some vendetta someone had with a certain team or coach, because these are some pretty serious accusations. Still, I am glad the subject did come up because I think a lot of us, myself included, were ignorant on the subject and hopefully a little education will help all of us ensure the game is kept clean and our kids as safe as possible.

I am very sorry that I mentioned names,I let my anger and emotions get the best of me.However I do not want people wispering in the stands every time our team(my daughter in particular)gets a rip.We live an honest lifestyle and associate ourselves with such people of the same values.So I am trying to protect my daughter from any harmful comments at the park and or anything negative to follow her up the ladder.We are blazers and proud of it....the coaches and the parents there are good Christian folk and by no means should we be attacked for spite.Sorry for the rant,but unfortunatly sometimes taking the high road and not responding is an admission of guilt in some eyes.

Great 1st post! It's hilarious how past events are remembered.

This post was way beyond personal attacks. This was a call for safety! If you think that altered bats aren't being used at our age group, then you're sadly mistaken. Coaches that encourage this practice, are the same ones that hide behind a shield of integrity, but when you look behind the curtain, you see them for the scumbags that they are. I 100 % believe the story that was told to me by a friend, and based on your distorted view of facts, I'm sure you believe your coach.

Notice!!! At no point in this reply did I bring up personal issues that we have with you, or your family. That's a whole different can of worms, that we were very happy to put behind us.

As for our time with Sonny, he treated my dd, and our family with the utmost respect, and integrity. Maybe you should talk to him before you speak on his behalf.

Preston ... based on my piecing together what's been presented here and a couple of people I've talked to, I don't blame you. You put your name and phone number out there and it helped me understand that you were passionate about defending your coach and team. The last thing we need to happen is for things to keep simmering and then have a blow up that results in either someone getting hurt or ruining the game for the girls.
