Best Bats

If you are a good hitter before you buy a RT than you a better hitter with it ,"hands down". Its a great bat ! I dont think anyone on this sight is saying it wont make you strike out or anything but it sure does put some added power on that ball when you hit it . We have 4 kids on our team who have one and 3 of them lead the team in Batting Average , Doubles and or triples . My kid didnt want one at the beginning of the year but loves it now . But once again , You have to hit the ball first . The bat diffinatley helps a good hitter .This is not saying you cant be a good hitter without it .

I used to use a synergy and i liked it a lot but then i got a RT and i LOVE it. But like every1 else is saying you have to feel comfortable with your bat or lese you won't do as well.

The Rocket Tech is not going to get you base hits, a good swing will do that, BUT, the Rocket Tech will turn those base hits into doubles, triples and home runs. It is just a great bat!

I was at a tournament this weekend and there was talk that the rocket tech bats were going to be done away with and that kids were not going to be allowed to use them next year! Does anyone have any information on whether or not they are going to do this? Thank-you in advance!

I have a rockettech, a synergy, and a catalyst. The ball definately jumps off on all 3 of them. It's just what bat feels right for you... if you like a inloaded bat, then you should definately go with the rt. If you like a balanced bat, go with the synergy or catalyst.

I love my rocket tech probably because of the inloaded feeling. I also like my catalyst and synergy. It's all in what you like! ?:)

DD has hit some tapemeasure shots with the 2004 RT and the ball comes off it wickedly when sweetspotted, her previous bat was a blemished F2 with less line drive pop but hit several balls for distance and height that the tape measure ran out of numbers and further than the RT.
The RT was $185 and blemished F2 $85, so it is still a personal choice per player and economic value but I think the RT will give anyplayer HR power when centered up and a correct swing, have seen smaller players send the ball.

Even the 05' Rocket Tech is very good. IF you like an endloaded feel. If your bat speed is questionable then better steer clear because it is heavier than most bats. Gotta have some upper body to swing the RT.

I would like to mention, what I feel IMHO may be the best , new bat out there period. The new Schutt composite will be introduced very soon, as Cyrtsl Bustos has just approved the new paint graphics. The bat has been designed under the watchful eye of the greatest hitter to ever play the game. After swinging and witnessing some hits with a prototype of this new bat, I was more than impressed. I asked Ms. Bustos if the finale is as hot, she replied "Its hotter".

The bat is very forgiving and has great pop!. Choice of balance or end loaded. Is approved for all Associations.

I would compare it to the first Synergy's and the Miken Ultra's in forgiving performance.

I don't intend this to develop into a posting war just putting out some early info - Please form your own opinion.

Rocket Tech best bat made Period! Then problaby the 06 Synergy, Then problaby a drop off to Catylyst, Mayhem, Maniac and then the Evo. If this year's Schutt is like last year's Schutt, I wouldnt buy them for Batting Practice , let alone Gametime!!

If you are going to talk the best bat ever you better be talking Miken Ultra. Period. You can get independent reviews from many places. The bat wars also will comfirm that the ultra was is and most likely always be the bat that hails above all others. That includes the number of players injuried (Guess).

The Rocket Tech is a great bat, my DD has one but it is not a forgiving bat. IMHO that does not rank in in my top 3. You hit the sweet spot and almost all bats are great! That's the problem - most do not consistantly hit the ball with the sweet spot.

Don't overlook the Mental Part of the Bat - if the player does not feel the bat is great - it probably won't be.

The new schutt bat will be the first to carry the Bustos name, if you talk to her you will discover a very down to earth elite player, who doesn't put her name on everthing out there. That along with the undisputed fact that she is the best hitter ever should say something.

I remember back when a little company named Miken introduced the widely discribed cheap "Plastic" bat. LOL

Lession: Don't bank on past results when the paradigm shifts

Advise: Find a bat that you like that provides the best possible result when you miss the sweet spot.

Sporse,

the fastpitch version of the Miken Ultra is the Intensit-E, which i agree, is regarded as the hottest fp bat ever made. the original Ultra I (Grey) came out as a slowpitch model and lasted all of 3 months before being banned in july 2002. it was replaced with the Ultra II (black) which was supposed to be toned down from the Ultra I. it was also banned the following year. these bats were the reason for the 98 mph standard ASA now uses. the Miken Intensit-E (blue) is still allowed by all assoc's, even though it tests way above the limit. it was also the first bat Crystl endorsed, with her name on the barrel. they are hard to find and pricey when you do....

:'(...sigh..and I remember seeing them in a catalogue for $159, thinking--gee, that's too much money for a bat.. :-[...and it was such a pretty shade of blue--Intensit-E :'(
