I did say she would be batting 4th. Like I said, my bad. The coach just said she was their power hitter. I WAS cautious BEFORE I agreed to play for them. (He did come to Findlay to see my DD. Not the other way around. She was playing with her H.S. team). I told him about all our previous problems with travel teams, and what we needed for our DD before we agreed to join. He knew everything about us before HE said he wanted her on the team.Sorry they are down to 10 players now. 2 left at the first tourney. I guess we weren't the only ones expecting more from the coach.

here is my 2 cents my dd aint gone yet just trying to sort things out in her head.as for my problems with the coach took me a while and a short phone call with the top man to get my head figured out,now,im doing damage control.

MOM, I wasn't going to reply to your PM but yes, in fact, I know exactly who you are and I was correct with my first guess.

A few things for you:
1. Freshman ball is not really considered H.S. ball.
2. I've witnessed plenty of your daughters REC league games and I have yet to see a "245 foot bomb".
3. There are plenty of Travel Ball teams in NorthWest Ohio that are far closer to Defiance than Dayton.
4. As for not sitting by other parents because you can't see the game, are you sure they don't want to sit by you because of your behaviour and reputation. Before you answer that, how many times have YOU been warned by umpires. Dundee a few years ago was pretty close to having you being removed from the park huh?

Your kid is a decent ball player but there is a large area for improvement as there is with any player at that age. For her sake, take your blinders off and let the coaches work with her without your interference and she will be far better off.

Mom - I find it very telling that every person on here is telling you that you have unrealistic expectations and the one person who admits to knowing you has confirmed everybody's suspicions. But instead of even considering that maybe, just maybe, these people have a valid point, you turn very nasty and attack people on a personal level. That speaks loads about your character.
