Unfortunately I did bring him up as the mere name starts my head shaking side to side.
My run ins with Quakerman:
1. He threatened to drive up to Grove City and kick my arse personally once. I didn't have the heart to tell him the Mike Craig he was thinking of is the Parks and Rec Director for Grove City and would have no idea why this middle aged guy was up there ready to fight. I met this Mike by the way. About 15 years younger, about 4 inches taller and looks like a wide receiver who would probably have wore ole' Quakerman out.
2. He was holding an event for NSA when I was still an area director. We were going the same weekend him in Wilmington, me at Berliner. He told me I should drop my date because he had carte blanche because he was older than me. I about choked on the phone when he called me and said that.
3. He wanted me to join his merry band of misfits and go with him to one of the many softball alphabet soups he had been with (I lost count but it might have been 5 in less than 12 months). This was right when decided to keep everyone's money and disappear from the softball community.
I only mentioned Daddy Dice because on the old forum if a member was on double-secret probation (in Rickey's or Jean May's doghouse), their user name would be bright red. Dice's user name was always in a perpetual state of red.
I sure hope we would not be talking about a Thief who stole money from the young ladies of this community!!!
I still am dumbfounded that people who know what he did are friends with him on FaceBook!
