i looking to get my dd a new mitt ,im looking at the akadema apm 66
she has small hands any thoughts or ideas?

The Akadema APM 66 is a very good mitt. How small are her hands? With a batting glove, the APM 66 should be ok. It has a velcro strap and can be tightened down quite a bit.

My daughter uses an Akadema catchers mitt, had a heck of a time breaking it in. After a year of stiffness, I gave it the oven treatment and it there was a huge improvement. They are very well built and will last a while.

Make sure that whatever glove you get, get one with a good size pocket to keep ball from bouncing out.
