Good job on getting the fields playable over there. Wouldve liked to play but couldnt due to previous committments. Did you get most of the games in?

After the hard work from the Chain Reaction organization and the Ohio Blast we were able to get all 20 pool play games in and finished on schedule. Thanks to all the teams for their patience with the slight set back in the morning and thanks again for participating. I will have Saturdays schedule posted by Tuesday.

Great job to the Blast and Chain organizations. They did a wonderful job getting everything in shape for play. Despite the cold we had a great time! It was nice getting outside for the girls to play some games! Looking forward to next weekend!

Can you explain to me how the seeding works for the 14u teams. I was under the impression that because Blast and Maddogs each won 2 and lost 1 that it went by runs allowed. Is this not correct? Or does Blast get 1st seed because the "won by the book" (what does that mean?). I am niew to the softball seeding system and I am very curious. Just to let you know my child doesn't play for any of the 14u teams. I am just very curious.

Usually it goes by runs allowed, but seeing that the Ohio Blast got the credit for the win over the Maddogs then Blast has the first seed. This bracket was difficult because I actually had 4 teams that went 2-1. When you win "By the Book" there was a tie. The win is credited to the team with the most runners to reach 3rd base then if thats tied you go to 2nd base then 1st base. Hope this helps you out

Actually blast lost to CR and top guns 2-1 all head to head would go out and runs allowed would be factor to decide no biggie you still gotta play the games and beat the best to be the best

I guess what we are saying is, each tournament has there own rules and they are all different, just depends on how its set up

Actually, this isn't even a sanctioned tourney. It is a tune-up in which Scott and his crew did an excellent job preparing for despite the conditions. If you walked to the fields and then seen the difference actually on the fields you will know how hard they worked to allow play. Who cares about seeding, I am thankful we got to play so early and I assure you no other fields were playable last weekend.

Great job again guys!!! Glad you postponed the last day......today was much nicer!! It was beautiful! Talk about one extreme to the next last week we needed electric blankets and hot cocoa this week we needed ice and sunscreen. I do prefer this week much better. Everything went great!

It was a great day!! First place in the 12u bracket went to Poland Pride and 2nd place to Silver Creek Starz 12 team. The 14u bracket went to Ohio Blast 1st place and Ohio Magic 2nd.

Very fun weekend. I was disappointed that our 12s didn't take 1st :'( but they learned a valuable lesson going into tournament play this weekend. The attitudes need to stay home!!
