ASA Tournament Cincy Doom Spring Madness

Jeesh, sorry to rock the boat, guys. haha. I was told last night that the Outsiders had maybe one pitcher, and that another one was needed. If somemone can clarify this on this thread for me, I'd like to know b4 tomorrow so we can figure out what to do. All I know is more than one pitcher will be needed to get through that field of teams.

Last I spoke to Rex - he wanted me to bring 3 position players from my Madison Jr High team - are they still needed? Rex call me ASAP.

When I spoke to Rex, he said he thought somemone might be bringing a pitcher, but he wasn't 100% sure. He said all the pitchers he knew were at some basketball tourney this weekend. Doug, is one of your 3 players a pitcher?

Boats not in the water yet. When I talked to Rex last night at 5:30pm. We talked about Brian's (Bsjones0h) and my daughter pitching fot them this weekend. Brians daughter won't be able to be there Sunday. Rexs' cell phone was breaking up, so maybe he didn't understand me when we were talking. I'm going to try and give him a call on his cell phone now.

I just talked to Rex, He will have a total of 11 players. 3 pitchers so that he will have at least 2 on Sunday. Should be able to rotate everyone in just fine. Great chance for the girls to get out and get some extra playing time (Thanks Patty). He said to meet by the fields on the right as you come down the parking lot into the park. He will be there around 10:15. Sounds like a great time is in store, chance for the girls to meet different players and play some top notch competition.

See you all Saturday, should be a great time for all, as long as the weather cooperates. Hopefully since the team is a bit of a mixed team, the 3 pitchers will be rotated in to keep these tough hitters off balance instead of trying to stretch each pitcher for 5-7 innings. ;-) Just my 2cents. haha. My girl also plays 3B/2B/OF, so if she's not pitching she won't be a problem. See you tomorrow!

Hey Bob - I'm really bummed. Kelci came home from school today sick... she went to the Doc and she said to rest for the weekend, as she appears to have some sort of flu-like virus. :-( I was really hoping to see her pitch this weekend, but what can I do. I may stop over anyway and watch a game or 2 if my schedule permits (i.e. if my wife/babies let me). haha. See ya.

Raining hard here in Ky at this hour and weather.com doesn't look that great for getting games in. Hope this doesn't mean that this travel ball season will mirror the really tough school season of 2009.

Am trying to remember what we did when DD's travel ball games got rained out back in the Day before nearly all motels had wi-fi . . . I must have read a lot more books. Of course, the down side of having wi-fi and a nearly paperless office is that I could always opt to get some real work done, but how much fun would that be.

man that ****s --rain held off most of the day 100 miles east. Baseburners touney in portsmouth was able to get in all their games, except for a couple 1/2 hr breaks for rain /lightning. TNT 12u from WV and 12u Stingrays look to be the leaders of the pack. TNT got them 6-2 today but games was tight and well played into the 6th . TNT added a couple late runs. Did'nt get to catch much 14u ball. most local teams from scioto co combined with a few WV teams. Buckeye Elite 14u , with several old Wild Thang girls from 2 years ago went 2-1 only losing by 1 run to TNT 14u .
