Coach K and Coach Zill will be holding individual tryouts for the upcoming Fall 2018-Summer 2019 season
Sunday, July 29th 9 am-4 pm
Monday, July 30th 4-8 pm
Tuesday, July 31st 4-8 pm
Please contact to schedule a 45 minute tryout and chat! Time windows are flexible to your schedule!
This is open to any 2002, 2003 birth year players. We are open to all positions.
We, Coach K and Coach Zill, are entering our second season with Cincy Shock. We are looking to add hardworking, competitive athletes who have a love for the game to the team!
Both coaches played together at Alma College (NCAA, Division III) for four years. As coaches, our goals for a summer team are:
1. Teach and develop the value of softball, beyond the physical aspect of the game.
2. Practice and play at a collegiate level to encourage young women to step outside of their comfort zone and improve!
3. If an athlete is interested in college softball, work with her to navigate through the recruiting process (organize a player profile, write emails to college coaches, research colleges based on interests, etc.)
We would like to organize a "friendly" scrimmage or two in the fall with other local organizations. We will practice through the winter at an indoor facility. During the summer, we will practice at Ogden fields in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
Our 2019 tournament plan will include various college showcase tournaments in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Michigan as well as other tournaments in the tri-state area.
