I'm not disagreeing with that and that could have been a directive from the OHSAA but that is not what the governor's directive was from the beginning according to them yesterday. Dewine and his Lt Gov. made it very clear yesterday that they never told the schools to close outside fields, only the buildings. I imagine the schools, districts or OHSAA in combination closed them. The point is Dewine and the Lt Gov. made it clear yesterday in a response to a reporters specific Q about school fields access for youth summer sports that they don't even have to ask the State of Ohio for access to those fields to use them before June 30th because they have access now. Re-watch the press conference towards the end when the lieutenant governor explains that part of it when a reporter from Cincy asks about it. The they basically said you would have to get permission through the schools or the municipalities for field use in each specific case but the state is okay with the school fields being used for youth sports
