Re: Fairborn Announces 2008 USSSA Fastpitch Schedu

I have been out of town for a few weeks.

I am not sure what carrier you folks use, but I am not aware of one that delivers to the person(s) without an address.

Must be using pony express to deliver

Matt are you still out of town? Do you still have some of the girls money you owe them or is it all spent now? I really thought Fairborn was going to be a good place to play but it is pretty expensive for a few games or no games at all, don't know if we can afford anymore tourneys like yours. Email has been sent like you asked, phone numbers have been given and messages left, WHY NO RESPONSE, I would be ashamed and hide also if I were in your shoes.

I'm not sure what the deal is but its really not funny!! To think that alot of young ladies worked really hard to raise or turn their money in so a coach/manager could pay to put then in a tournament and to have it canceled at the last minute and get nothing back. Kind of stinks
Still have not heard 1 darn thing about it!!!

Hi Folks,

Denny Rose asked me to post this on the thread for him. Denny is not much of an internet guy, but has been made aware of the situation.

Anybody in this thread who has not recevied a refund should contact Denny Rose, USSSA Fast-Pitch State director ASAP. Denny is somewhat aware of what has happened here, but needs names and coaches contacts for this matter.

Denny Rose 419-376-7075, droseusssa@bex.net www.ohusssafastpitch.org

Thanks,

Mike

Folks I aint running you around to anyone. Denny has told me that he needs to hear from folks and I also posted that he is not much of an internet guy. That usually means that if an e-mail is not answered, pick up the phone.

Denny will need to get names and numbers and details. Contrary to public belief, he does not read this message board and would have no idea of who has what coming. He also has to give due process which means contacting the tournament director to find out what the problem is and why this has not been addressed and taken care of.

Have any of you called the tournament director or are you just firing off e-mails? IF I had a refund coming, I would be firing off e-mails, leaving voice mails, and posting on the slow-pitch softball message boards the tournament director is known to frequent on a daily almost hourly basis. After a while he would get tired of seeing and hearing my voice, he would send the money to make me go away. ;)

What novel ideas;& Why do you think no one has heard anything from him. Because HE IS tired of seeing and hearing our voices. We've called, we've sent letters via real mail, we've sent emails. I don't think posting on a slow-pitch forum is going to be the trigger. The next step might just have to be a personal visit to Fairborn for a face to face, but.... that has the potential to go really good or really bad.

Point Blank - Matt Cloud knows who he owes and how much he owes them. I would say that he has spent the girls money and is not able to refund it. This is why there probably will not be anymore tournaments in Fairborn. I also think sending in money to tournaments ahead of time is going to become a headache to TD's because of this. A deposit is one thing but the whole amount is another. I hope Matt is sleeping well at night knowing he has robbed girls out of their money that they probably did fundraising for so they could play in his tournament to begin with. Sweet dreams Matt the robber

I also do not see why we have to be contacting anyone else regarding this matter. Matt Cloud is the one who took (stole) our teams money. Not the state director or anyone else. The money is owed back to our team plain and simple. Our attorney will also be contacting him immediately. This is embarassing. Fastpitch softball tournaments in Fairborn are finished because of this guy. We are owed $450.00 and we expect the refund sent to the address on the registration form that we sent in. Why is this so complicated and why are others on the state level trying to conceal the truth. Their credibility is now suffering as well. In my opinion they are now on the same level as teal town.

Get this thing done. Stop stalling !!!!!!!!!
