Find Teams Near Home

There are SO many teams around. What is the easiest way to find teams in your area?

If you go to "Players Looking for a Team" forum and state that you are looking for a team in your area, you will probably be bombarded by area (and out of area) teams looking for players.

You can also post on this thread what part of the state are you from. Readers will be happy to tell you about teams in your area.

You can watch the tryouts thread, most teams/orgs are pretty good at letting you know where there from. I find that to be pretty imformative.

You may know someone that has their finger on who/what/where/when. Talk to people that have been doing the travel thing in your area of interest.

Near home is GREAT! Chances are you will know folks, practices are more convenient; HOWEVER, venturing out of your own backyard just MIGHT prove a great experience! Take a walk around the block and see what's out there! You may find a place to call your home away from home.
