Joeboo, thank you for the detailed information and once the restaurant is completed along with some of the other upgrades VSP will be one of the best larger parks in northern Ohio. Like I said I'm not familiar with the interworking of the complex and it sounds as if it is on the right track. VSP does have a lot of great things going for it, hopefully my comments weren't taken the wrong way. We've been to a lot of great parks and some have gate fees and others don't but don't allow food/drinks, etc. and VSP was one of the ones that had both stipulations so that's why I even commented. I read that you commented that half of the vendors won't be coming back due to lack of sales and I think Panera Bread, Chipotle, Subway, etc. within a couple of miles from the park is probably the reasoning behind that. Most parents of softball players don't want their daughters eating vendor food at those prices (meaning $6 sausage sandwich compared to a $5 sub at subway) so one recommendation I would have for the restaurant is to provide affordable "somewhat" healthy food and you should do a lot of business at the park. Families are more likely to eat at the park if there was an affordable option that was "somewhat" healthy. Even if families could bring in coolers most parents pack it with fruit, snacks, water, and Gatorade but if they want to eat a good meal the restaurant is a great option. Wish you best of luck!
